Cordela Hotels supports earth hour activities – 1 our watch for the earth
South Tangerang, 25 March 2023 - The Earth Hour 2023 program was held on Saturday, 25 March 2023 in all Cordela Hotel business units with great success. Programs hosted by Cordela Hotels with support from WWF (World Wildlife Fund) with the aim of improving public awareness about the importance of protecting the earth and the environment. As part of the programme, all lighting in and around the Cordela Hotels was temporarily switched off one hour from 20.30 to 21.30 WIB. All guests staying at the hotel are also expected to. Turn off electrical equipment that is not needed for one hour.
The Earth Hour program has become a popular global movement since it was first launched in 2007 by WWF. All people around the world are expected to participate in this movement by turning off lights and electrical appliances that are not needed for one hour on a certain night the same every year.
Currently, the earth and our environment are facing many problems such as climate change, damage forest, and more. With the Earth Hour program, we can reduce electricity usage and demonstrates our awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. Cordela Hotels as one of the hotel that cares about the environment participates in this program as part of corporate social responsibility and commitment to protect the earth and the environment.
